Yuchai 6TD product, following the demanding specifications for mechanical development verification, has been subject to a cumulative durability bench test of 20,000 hours. The engine block is made of alloy cast iron, with higher strength. The integral forged steel crankshaft improves fatigue strength and wear resistance. The structure of one head matching one cylinder ensures easy maintenance. The cylinder head bolts are evenly distributed and stressed. The valve system, high camshaft arrangement, short and thick push rod, and roller tappet make the product highly reliable.
2.Fuel and money saving
The application of the four-valve technology ensures substantially increased flow area of intake and exhaust, and the central fuel injector enables more uniform atomization, and more complete combustion; The turbocharged & intercooled + electronically-control pump technology and accurate electronic control help the user to get the most out of every drop of fuel; The Holset/Lianxin turbocharger enables wide economic operating conditions, a more than 15% reduction in the mechanical loss and less pumping loss, as well as a 10-15% reduction in fuel consumption compared with engines at the same power level.
