The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar. Hosting a large-scale football tournament at the level of a World Cup requires a reliable and powerful power supply system. For this World Cup, Yuchai provided a total of 153 generator sets, which were deployed in venues, hotels, resettlement sites, and other places to ensure stable power supply during the World Cup.
China Telecom is a super large communication operator in China, mainly engaged in mobile communication, Internet access and application, fixed telephone, satellite communication, ICT integration and other comprehensive information services. In China Telecom’s centralized procurement project for fixed diesel generator sets (2024-2025), Yuchai won over 75% of the bidding orders.
ByteDance is the world’s leading Internet company. The diesel generator set for Yuchai Shipbuilding Power 2000kW data center has passed its continuous 241 hour operation test, and has become the supplier of standby generator set for ByteDance data center.
Beijing Daxing Airport is currently the largest newly-built airport in the world. The long-term plan for the airport covers an area of 45 square kilometers, with a terminal complex building of 1.4 million square meters. The backup power supply equipped at Beijing Daxing Airport is provided by a joint venture between Yuchai and MTU, a subsidiary of Rolls Royce.
